In this work, the duo "Alibi" changes radically – everything you have heard performed by it earlier does not intersect with the new album in any way. It seems that this is a serious step forward - and one can only regret that the girls did not do it before. Because they've succeeded – clearly, efficiently and, ultimately, just well. First, there is a good selection of songs – both in the mood and the degree of "triteness". Second – lots of live instruments that a bunch of really cool musicians play. Third – the ability to arrange an experiment in a tasty, bright, sometimes quite unexpected way. And here one should separately mention the following sparkle: arrangements of this album very relevantly intertwine Ukrainian melodies with folk tunes of other nations. The palette is very broad – from klezmer and to gospel – and that, you know, positively impresses. Definitely – "Alibi" grows over itself, and grows in an interesting way.
