Down a side street in the centre of Moscow is a small and innocuous-looking internet café. During the week, people meet there for lunch or drop by to browse the internet as well as the café’s extensive collections of books and CDs. At the weekend, however, the café becomes a hub of activity as the city’s high flyers flock to attend one of Moscow’s most popular ‘Lonely Hearts’ nights.

The protagonists in this brand new telenovela are all successful professionals who, due to their busy careers, have little time for dating. While the café staff look on, the ‘club members’, single people of all ages and different backgrounds, embark on an exciting and often emotional quest for new friends and prospective partners.
