The distant 1920s. Three musicians from Odessa – Kostya, Styopa and Zhora – formed a jazz band. Following a few funny, albeit sad incidents, they were joined by a saxophone player, Ivan Ivanovich. The optimistic group arrived in Moscow in hopes of winning the hearts of genuine jazz connoisseurs and fans. Not everything went smoothly in their artistic career. There were flops, too. Yet the boys, madly in love with the art, remained faithful to it…
